1987 BMW 325is E30, Lots of work done, Classic!
Name: Q
Location: Fairfax
Means of contact: text/call 703-362-8418
Price: $5500
Description: I am reluctantly listing my classic and timeless occasional "Sunday" car for sale.
This E30 is in good shape overall with a ton of new parts and recent maintenance. I have a full list of what has been done by the previous owner but I will give you a breakdown of what exactly I have done since I've had it.
The car is Schwartz Black with Cardinal Red interior, 5spd transmission and original M20 engine and about 265k miles.
New timing belt and water pump
New spark plugs
New injectors
New Head Gasket kit (head bolts, various other gaskets, etc)
Also had the head "decked" to make sure it was completely flat before reassembly.
The previous owner had the front seats redone with new red leather and had the car repainted (it looks fantastic) and had the suspension overhauled (new bushings, shocks, etc etc) the list just goes on. Nothing but quality parts from top to bottom, I can show you receipts that I personally spent over 700$ in parts alone plus labor this past winter on the head gasket and timing belt job.
The car still needs a few small things as it is an antique and will continue to be a project car for the next guy. It currently has a side exit exhaust, I've purchased a new OEM style exhaust but haven't had the time to have it installed yet. That is the only reason I am selling it actually, because I don't have the time to maintain and enjoy it with my new schedule working 70+ hours a week. Currently the A/C does not work and the RPM gauge doesn't function all the time and the ABS light is on. I was told it is most likely a relay but haven't had time to diagnose. It starts up every time and the engine runs really well, clutch pulls hard and it really goes!
Asking $5500 OBO but will entertain reasonable offers. No joyrides but the car is antique and does not require inspections or emissions if you get antique tags. I really don't want to sell this car but I don't have the time for it anymore and could use a daily beater car. Will entertain trades for something of similar value that I can drive on a daily basis--Can't do that with antique tags.

Beautiful car! You are at the top of my list to get in touch with if I can get my car sold. I'd offer it as a trade but it's not what you're looking for.

Sorry, I'm looking for trade only for something reliable, good on gas and in preferably in the 2000s. Japanese Honda/toyota preferable. Think corolla/civic accord/camry.
Thanks!
Thanks!
