Description: Selling my MK2 4 door golf with the 1.8 liter 8 valve engine. I'm realizing i have too many cars/projects and I have a baby now so my time and money are limited. Price isn't firm but i will not give this car away either worst case ill just slowly work on it and keep it. Previous owner took pretty good care of it and was his daily driver for a while. Just has some little things that need attention nothing major. Here's a list of parts he said that were replaced since hes had it some more recent and you can honestly tell. Oil pan gasket, Valve cover gasket, radiator, exhaust due to a hanger coming apart causing a leak, cap and wires, spark plugs, tires. He gave me a new timing belt kit new in the box i just never got around to doing it. The inspection is still good until August. Now some of the issues it has cosmetically are a dent on the driver side rear quarter panel and has 2 small rust holes below rear bumper. Only the driver front door opens from outside all the rest open fine from the inside. Driver front seat has a tear in it and when the engine is cold it has a rough idle but once it starts to warm up it drives fine. Hood release handle needs to be put back on, previous owner broke it somehow but the hood opens and latches fine. Glove box needs some small hardware to close properly, held shut with double sided tape right now. Car was driven from Richmond to my house when i purchased it and that's about a 35 min drive so the car drives great in my opinion. All in all it is a 20 plus year old car so its not perfect by any means but functional and clean for its age.
