1978 Mercedes-Benz W123 240D 4-speed Manual

Description:
1978 Mercedes 240 diesel. Rare 4-speed manual gearbox, 280,000 miles. Most everything works other than the A/C and some of the vacuum-operated power locks. Recently VA inspected, although it's obviously old enough that you can register it as historic.
Not perfect at 280k, some surface rust here and there, but frame rails/rockers are solid, strut towers are flawless, etc.
Currently my daily driver, and I'm rather fond of it, but I thought I'd list it on a lark just to see what people will offer me.
New-ish radiator, steering box, clutch, fuel filters, oil change. Regular maintenance at indie benz shop in NoVA.
I will post more photos as I take them. Car getting new 175/65/14 Michelin Symmetries tomorrow.
Slam it or leave it stock, it's a fun car. Sounds like a semi truck, glacially slow (but better than auto trans), lots of fun. Totally indestructible, of course.
I'm open to whatever on trades, but nothing spraypainted, nothing that doesn't run 100% reliably, and no bikes.

Yeah, W116's are SUPER tough to find in general, let alone in 4spd, and I wasn't about to settle for an automatic.
Just ordered new front calipers, pads, speed bleeders on all 4 corners, and some other stuff, all of which will be installed over the next week. Just freshening it up some.

Yeah, doing that this weekend.
I'm doing the front brake calipers and a few other things, then I'll take new shiny photos. No one will be able to buy it between now and around the end of next week anyway because the brakes are in pieces. I didn't want to either drive or sell a car with leaky calipers.

Are you going to be around tomorrow? I might be passing through, and while I understand it can't be driven I could at least look at it.
