WTS: 1997 Honda Civic EX (ej8) Tastefully Modded
car was hit by a deer tonight oct. 22 car is no longer for sale and will be fixed and NOT parted as far as i know.
Civic was lowered today! Oct. 12,08[/B]

Lets see - 1997 Honda Civic EX body has 250k!! - i replaced the engine with one that had about 45k on it, so id assume it has 55k miles on it. the pictures above dont show the car lowered, ill take some tomorrow the way it sits now.
-d16y8 and matching 5 speed hydro trans with about 55k miles
-Magnaflow exhaust
-16'x 6' Maxxim Screech's wraped in toyo proxies - 90% life remaining
-Ebay header
-Hand polished valve cover
-Spectre performance Intake
-Black housing headlights with halos, projectors, led strip all hooked up to a switch in the cabin
-DIY CTR grill
-type r front lip
-OEM Mud Flaps - getting much harder to find
-drilled / slotted rotors with new pads
-tinted 99 tail lights
-skunk2 shift knob
-skunk2 oil cap
-sony explode head deck
-2 pioneer 12' subs
-760 watt pioneer amp
-subs and amp wired using 4 gauge wire
-auto gauge tach
-brand new battery
-all new ground wires
-new plugs, wires, and cap/rotor
-Blue Tooth - hooked into radio - works extremely well!
-new aluminum "performance spec" radiator
-extremely rare ashtray / cigarette lighter - i do not smoke nor has anyone in the car, i use the ashtray as a secret cubby for monies.. but dont tell anyone
-stage 2 clutch
-turbo spec cam shaft
-taped oil pan
-Megan Racing lowering springs
-Monroe replacement shocks
-replaced the all the bushings with poly.
not installed:
-full polyurethane bushing kit for the entire car
-new rear drum pads
-blue full underglow kit
-the a/c belt isnt on because i was going to take the whole a/c set up out, but i can put it back on if you wish.
-aem fuel regulator
problems:
-3 dings which could be fixed
-the throw out bearing in the transmission is going bad, but isn't very noticeable.
at the moment im getting about 28 mpg city / 31mpg highway
if you don't like my car please keep your negative comments to yourself.
