SOLD 2000 Toyota Tacoma, V6, 4x4 $5500
SOLD
$5,500
Truck has 250,000 miles. Yes... as in, a quarter of a million. It runs great though. I bought it last spring as the second owner. The original owner lives in Edenton NC and commutes to Portsmouth. That's the story I was told anyway. There are a few people on this site who can vouch for the truck, it drives great and looks like it has less than half that many miles. I drove it every day to work and back (45 miles round trip) and it ran perfect. I went out to the OBX a few times last summer and it does great in the sand, everything works great. AC is cold, radio's good, e-diff is good, 4x4 is fine, no leaks, no squeaks, no rattles... no nothing. I average right at 20mpg
2000 Toyota Tacoma 4x4
3.4L V6
TRD package
Spray-in bed liner
Title in hand

NOTE: Check engine light came on about 200 miles ago. I have a code checker, it's a P0420. That's secondary catalyst inefficiency. It's common. Normally the cats go out somewhere shortly after 100k miles. This truck is on the original. Replacement cats sell for something like $900. The normal fix is to order the cat delete from URD. It's about $75. If you buy the truck, I'll install the part from URD. If you're curious about this, you can check URD's website, or research it a bit on YotaTech.com. It's not a big deal. I'll do it soon even if it doesn't sell... it's just on the back burner right now since I don't drive it any more.

I'm pretty sure I had the same code on my '01 taco w/ a 3.4 and all it needed was a cleaning of the mafs. Worth checking out, good luck with the sale.

This is a good deal! Anyone interested in this, dont let the miles hold you back. MY 98 Tacoma is about to click over 315K this week or next. Still runs like a top. LOVE my toyota.
Someone needs to buy this. Such good trucks for the money.

Thanks all.... yes, it's a great truck. If it weren't for the fact that it's too small for my wife, my daughter, and myself to use comfortably, I'd keep it. I had to upsize though.

Hey have you checked with your local toyota dealership about the rust issue these trucks had?
There is a recall and you get your whole frame and truck undercoated for free if it falls into the recall. Just lettin you know. I work at toyota and they do many of these a week lol

I just bought a Tundra
I've heard about it. I haven't done it though. There's no rust on this one's frame and I'm anal about keeping it that way. It's one of those things that I'll do this spring if I still have it, otherwise I'll let the new owner do it. I just don't have any free time to get it done lately.
