Description: Vehicle hit a deer this morning. Value was ~ $8000 - Motor and transmission is flawless, on 10w30 full synthetic, car has 130k miles, premium sound and sun roof.
Needs a fender, hood, radiator, bumper, headlight, and an air bag insert. Car is Not considered totalled, it has NO frame damage, and has a clean VA title in hand
A friend of mine price parts at ~$1000 shipped off a few shops on car-parts dot com.......... With a baby and 80mile one way commute every day I have NO time and I don't have money to spend (and I have three other vehicles)
First $4k cash gets the car and the title. Huge loss considering i bought this two years ago for $14,000.
I'll sit on it before I consider negotiating.

You musta hit a fuck of a deer to get an air bag to pop... I work for GEICO and never seen someone get an air bag from a deer loss.

I don't understand why you wouldn't just file the insurance claim it's easily a total loss vehicle
