Got $4,000 - Need reliable sedan for DD and baby hauling
I drive like 50 miles a day. Need a reliable DD.
Requirements:
- More than 2 doors (Sedan, Wagon, etc). A must for the baby.
- Working Air Conditioning.
- Working Heat.
- Must not need immediate repairs of any kind (no cel, no abs light, no airbag light, etc.)
Manual transmission is preffered over automatic.
All wheel drive is a plus, and rear wheel is preffered over front. But all are fine.
Looking for something mostly stock and reliable. I'm not interested in cars with engine swaps, or big turbos, or superchargers, etc. If it has a stock turbo or supercharger, then that's fine. Most simple bolt-on mods (intake, exhaust, headers, etc) and suspension upgrades are acceptable. Slight drop is OK, but no slammed cars.
As far as looks... I don't mind tasteful mods. If it looks like a riceboy transformer-bot, I don't want it. Must look like an adult drives it. I don't mind subtle body kits and wheels. I'm a proffesional and a dad now, gotta look the part.
Upgraded stereo systems are acceptable.
Using $4,000 basically as a guide. I will consider paying more for the right car.
