To start off, i absolutely love this car! It is, without a doubt, one of the funnest cars i' have ever owned.
I am not finished with the car yet, meaning - the a/c & heat arent working, and it needs paint. I have purchased a factory Mazda OEM passenger fender and headlight cover from Bob King mazda in Winston Salem, NC - they are in my hands and the car is just waiting to be painted. The paint actually looks good in the pictures below but dont let it fool you....the sun has done a number on the clearcoat-the paint is terrible and it WILL need repainting! The body is 100% straight with NO dents or dings anywhere (besides the obvious passenger front fender and headlight cover).
Both headlights work, the passenger headlight occasionally sticks due to the bumper being misaligned about 1/4 of an inch. The car has a CLEAN CARFAX and i have a CLEAN TITLE in my hands!
The ONLY things the car needs is:
-Replace passenger front fender / headlight cover (which i have)
-A/C IS NOW WORKING!
-Fix Heat
-PAINT!!!!
Thats it...thats all the car needs to be 100% perfect!

-The 5th gear syncro is starting to act up (common problem on the 3rd gens).

92k on original build... ... someone is going to buy this and tokyo drifto it... 10k miles and rebuild time.. nice car though

Runs perfect and no signs of problems in the near future....at least thats what a nationally known rotary expert said.
Thanks for the compliment though, its a sick little car and has a ton of potential! Im excited about finishing it myself if

That exhaust isn't stock, came with dual tip small stuff.

I bought the car as it sits from a lady who's husband died 6 years ago. It had been sitting a while and wasnt running, so after about a year of bugging her i finally bought it. I dont know what caused the damage, but it has a clean carfax and there was obviously no airbag deployment or anything...i have an oem fender and headlight cover. 'Rotor Sports Racing' out of Kannapolis, Nc got it running and since then i drive it almost every day with no problems! Steering wheel isnt split, the only wear is on the top side.

Yeah i guess so, the center of the steering wheel was almost white when i picked it up for some reason...after cleaning and scrubbing i got it all off. Looks like you can still see a little white in the cracks in the picture, maybe thats it.
