Here is a brief story behind the car. I bought the car with a burnt wiring harness (short near battery melted the fuse box wiring along with some others).

I swapped in another harness, both ECU and main harnesses. I swapped in another dash because the old one had two screw holes drilled into it for a monster tach (kept the vin plate from original dash).

I bought the car with intentions of making it a monster. I bought a built 6 bolt motor along with 15k dollars in other parts but quickly realized I wouldn't get nearly anything back if I sold this car with those parts. I sold the original 7 bolt because I had no use for it which is why there is a different 7 bolt motor in the car at the moment. --the built 6-bolt is sold; I intended to put it in the car but I wouldn't have gotten any of my money back by doing so--

I have ~8000 in receipts for parts for this car. There's easily 10k in parts on the car, not including the FML amount of manhours spent on this car. I'm a realistic person and don't expect to get those hours/ parts money fully back.

I am asking 11k for the car the way it sits. I think this is MORE than fair enough considering a nearly stock 2gb gsx with 35k miles just sold for 11.5k in June of 2010. This car is set up to be one HELL of a daily driver with VERY tasteful and realistic mods done. I see all kinds of high priced DSMs out there with monster turbos that you need to run 3000 octane fuel to just go up the street. NOTHING on this car is impractical for a daily driver. You will NOT lose money buying this. The KBB value of this car in fair condition is around 6k, and we all know KBB doesn't reflect the value of a truly one-off, clean, rust/ accident free awd dsm. Finding a clean, low mileage 2gb awd is nearly impossible these days.

Thanks guys!!! I can show you cars with less mods and 5-7x more miles going for ~8k, so I think this is fairly priced. KBB is 6700 for good condition, so another 3.5k for 10k in mods with receipts is very reasonable.

I've been into DSM's for 10 years now and if it wasn't for buying a house soon I'd probably keep it. There's maybe 1 or 2 people in the entire country that can say their cars have less miles. I know of one with ~25k miles so it's only 4k miles less. These never come up on the market with miles this low so it's hard to price them, but one sold for 11.5k last July (99 gsx, almost stock w/ 35k miles) so that's an idea of what it's worth. That and I can show people relative cars for sale with less mods, less documents, more rust (this has zero), and 4-6x the miles going for only 2k less.
