5/6/08 Edit.......Selling as a shell with longblock. Still the same long block in the car, no turbo, no manifolds, does have the factory harness in it. Did find a couple holes in the floorboards(all too common on the early Z's) they need to be patched. 1500 OBO for the shell. Might be able to get you the rest of the parts to get it running for a few extra bucks. Still considering trades.
I have a 78' 280z that has been turbocharged using 280zxt parts. The motor has been freshly rebuilt, with a 2mm metal headgasket and ARP studs. I have not run the motor, it has zero miles on it, it needs a couple hours of your time to get it running. Oil pump needs to be installed and the stock wiring harness hooked up, which is still in the car. It has a t3 turbo with a 2.5 inch downpipe and no further exhaust, I have the stock exhaust if you want to run it with a cutout of some sort.
If you meet the asking price, I have a few extras that will be going with it. I have a full standalone Megasquirt and Spark v2.3 system, with a brand new uncut harness. The MSnS unit has been tuned for my setup to run with 440cc injectors, so depending on what you use for injectors, you may need a tune, which you can do from your computer. I have some 550cc injectors, I was told they were RX7 injectors, but I'm unsure of this. I also have a billet fuel rail and Mallory adjustable fuel pressure regulator. I may be missing something, so if I remember I'll post it
Asking price is 4000, but I am willing to come down on the price if I can keep some of my parts.
I remember now, I also have an Izuzu NPR intercooler-popular upgrade intercooler for the Z's.
