2005 WRX Wagon (5 -speed)
Name: Jack
Location: Richmond - West End
Means of contact: Email : RogueM3@gmail.com
Price: $12,500
Description:
I am selling my 2005 WRX Wagon that I have babied over the past 3 years of my ownership. This car is awesome for the money and will make someone very happy if you want to use it as a daily driver (as I have) or as your weekend toy. My average mileage is 21MPG around town and I recently averaged 28+ MPG on a highway trip. KBB value is right at $12k and I figure the mods easily justify the little bit extra, plus 5-speed wagons aren't as readily found as sedans...NO TRADES!
The car has 89,500 miles (which will increase as I drive it everyday) and has received nothing but the best care by both myself and the 2 previous owners. I wash it every 2-3 weeks and apply a new coat of wax. The carpets were hot water extracted in August and plastics and vinyl are cleaned and protected 1x/month.
The modifications done to the car are all very tasteful and could be easily reversed should you want to swap things around or revert back to stock to make some $$ (stock parts are NOT included):
1) Prodrive Cat Back exhaust = $500+
2) TurboXS 4" Downpipe = $300
3) UTEC Engine Management (w/ map switcher in console. includes 3 maps) = $600+
4) OZ Ultraleggerra Wheels (17x8 ) with A/S Kuhmos = $1,600
5) Cusco Sway Bars with New Kart-Boy Front End-links = $400
6) Eibach Pro-Kit Springs= $200+
7) Kartboy Short Throw Shifter, shifter bushings and transmission mounts = $175+
8) Spec Stage 2 Clutch and New OEM Flywheel (installed at 58k miles)
9) Alpine CDE Headunit (car is also wired for amp and sub) = $200
10) Subaru Rubber Cargo Mat
11) Ultra-Rare OEM Euro Dog Cage (now completely unfindable...anywhere!) = $330
Modification Total (without Labor) = $4,400 +
Maintenance Items During my Ownership:
1) New Battery (8/09)
2) New OEM Flywheel installed at the same time as the clutch (58k miles)
3) New OEM Spark Plugs installed at 60k miles
4) New OEM Rear Struts (57k miles)
5) New Driver's side Rear wheel bearing (57k miles)
6) New OEM Accessory Belts @ 60k miles
7) Transmission Fluid Flush @ 60k miles (transmission internals inspected by borescope and given a clean bill of health)
8) Driver Front Ball Joint @ 60k Miles
9) Front SwayBar Endlinks Replaced @ 60k Miles
10) Replacement A/C Belt @ 60k Miles
11) Oil & Filter Changes (with Castrol Synthetic and OEM filter) every 5,500 miles.
I purchased this car in September of 2009 and had a pre-purchase inspection done at Delta V here in Richmond. It passed with flying colors and has since gone back to Delta V for all of the above maintenance. I have my records from Delta V to give to the buyer. Car just passed VA inspection this week (8/2012...so you have until 8/13 for inspection).
The only negatives with the car are:
1) It's been a daily driver and the nose has some small nicks from highway travel.
2) There are a few small dents on the passenger side front door that I plan to have removed via PDR. Also there is 1 dent on the passenger rear door and another on the rear hatch (both are small, I just wanted to provide full disclosure).
Those are nitpicking details as this car is very clean inside and out. Car has been EXTREMELY reliable. Just put gas in and change the oil and nothing else is ever needed! Given the above modifications and recent maintenance I am asking $12,500 for the car which I feel is more than reasonable knowing how few manual wagons are up for sale at any given time. Not looking to sell any mods separately or part anything off the car.
Thanks!

PM returned. Also wanted to mention for those interested that I replaced the air filter (OEM panel filter) and cabin filter ~20k miles ago.
