Honestly it depends on the level of interest. If you are pretty sure that you want to buy the car I will be more inclined to drive a greater distance to meet. Where are you located? And when was the belt supposed to be replaced?

Timing belt based on subaru maintenance schedule should have been replaced at 105k miles, so only 2000 miles past due.
Looking at options at the moment, and inquiring prices. Need to sell my car first to give better offers.

Richmond would be the halfway point for me. I live up near DC.
Timing belt based on subaru maintenance schedule should have been replaced at 105k miles, so only 2000 miles past due.

I didn't realize that the timing belt was due, I'm gonna have to get on that when I have a free day.
