Price: 10k OBO
Mileage: 140k
Title: Clear

I am selling my 2003 RSX Type-S which is blue in color with a black
leather interior. The vehicle comes equipped with a factory Bose sound
system, however, the factory 6 CD disc changer has been replaced for a
single Pioneer CD player. The vehicle has roughly 140k miles on it,
which are mostly highway, I used to drive 80 miles a day to go to work.
The car has only had Mobile-1 Synthetic oil since the day I purchased
the vehicle, the car runs great.

The vehicle has several minor modifications to it, I did not want to do
anything major to the car so I kept it simple. The previous owner had an
intake on the car that I replaced with a slightly better one, which
includes an HKS 3" mini filter. The stock motor mounts were worn pretty
badly so they were also replaced for some Avid Racing motor mounts,
which has made a major difference in engine stiffness. I re-grounded the
ground wires on the coil packs to give the coil packs a better charge
which has resulted in some mid-range power and most important gas
mileage, the car get roughly 20 miles more out of every tank of gas. The
next serious of modifications are my favorites, I have the JDM Type-R
air ducts which help add air to the Type-R four piston Brembo calipers
which have Hawk pads and the system is still using the STOCK Type-S
rotors. It is a custom setup and looks flawless and it's a nice subtle
touch. To finish off the brakes I put on the Type-R aluminum rear
calipers and I have Super Blue Racing Brake Fluid running through the
whole systems also. To get wheels to fit over the much bigger brakes I
had to use Acura TL rims wrapped with Yokohama Advan A-046's (they cost
about $300 a tire) which are held to the car using ARP wheel studs. The
package works great together, the car handles great and stops on a dime.
Lastly, the previous owner also had the ECU reflashed by HONDATA so the
new rev limit is 8600 RPM's. I recently had the clutch replaced with a
stage one Exedy clutch, which has about 4000 miles on it. The car is a
lot of fun to drive as a result of all of this. The car sits at stock
height and it does not have any exhaust modifications. If you are
interested in Honda's then this would be a great car to start a build
with. I love this car and hate getting rid of it, however, I have four
cars and the added car payment is turning into a hassle. Pictures are
available upon request. If you want to talk about the car, the price, or
the purchasing of the vehicle please feel free to contact me. Thank you,
Ryan.
