2000 Toyota Celica GT-S Manual with spun bearing
SOLD 10/8/2011

Location: Fairfax, Virginia (Northern Virginia)
Means of contact: PM or reply to post
Price: $3500
I am not parting it out so please do not ask for specific parts
I have been using this Celica as my commuter car for the past few years. It has never failed me but has recently been burning oil (about 1 quart per 1500 miles). I let the oil get too low and it spun a rod bearing due to oil starvation. This has been verified by a mechanic. To repair the engine would require about $1500 in parts and $1500 in labor to replace the broken parts. Alternatively, you could just replace the engine with a low mileage replacement for about $1000 more.
I am looking to sell this car as-is since I have another car and do not have the time to work with a mechanic. Please understand there is damage that will need to be fixed for it to be roadworthy. You could also part out the car and make significantly more than your initial payment.
Selling Price: $3,500
