Description: I have my 99 Mazda Protégé DX up for sale. Its a 2 owner vehicle. My mother in-law owned the vehicle since brand new and I just recently bought it 2 months ago. My intent was to use it as a daily driver, but I prefer my truck.

It has -

1.6 4cyl with only 758xx miles on it
Automatic transmission
Manual everything (Windows/Doors/Locks/Mirrors)
Aftermarket CD Player
Tan Cloth Interior
AC that blows cold
Brand new starter put in last month

The body is straight. The car starts up every time. There are NO issues with the motor. Everything on the car works fine. It has its 16 yr old issues though. The front passenger strut will need to be replaced in the future. Ive driven it and haven't had any issues, but you can hear it when you go over certain bumps. The alignment is good on the vehicle too. Theres no weird vibrations when accelerating or braking.

The interior is in good shape. Has its normal wear and tear of a 16 yr old car.

The bad -

As you can see in the photos, the hood was hit. Someone recently backed into the front while it was parked. The hood was pushed in a bit. It still opens and closes fine. It was just the hood that was hit. The head light wasn't touched.

The paint, well.... is 16 yrs old and it shows. There are cancer spots on the hood, roof and rear bumper.

The transmission will go into limp mode once you hit 40 mph. Ive had it at a Mazda dealer to scan and test. They said the transmission is FINE. It shifts properly. I just need a pulse generator. There was an 8 week back order on the part so I haven't ordered it yet. Through the dealer its $110 and an aftermarket place, Ive seen it for roughly $45. The car will still drive fine, it just stays in 3rd gear. As long as you keep it under 40mph, you wouldn't know there was an issue. But once you hit 40 mph, the OD light starts blinking.

It can make for a good daily driver, I just don't have the time to fix the issue myself. Im asking $1900 OBO based on KBB/NADA with just fair conditions.
