1998 Mitsubishi Eclipse GSX
This ad is for a 98 Mitsubishi Eclipse GSX
This car is my absolute baby and has been garaged everyday aside from time spent outside at college. I bought it from one owner before me who had it dealer serviced and I will include all receipts and records, even the original window sticker for this particular vehicle. I received the car at 53k miles in November of 2004. The car now has 88k miles. Entire engine from top to bottom was rebuilt at 85k miles due to an overrev. Car runs awesome, passes inspection and is overbuilt. Only reason im getting rid of is to get a house. If I dont get what im asking then I just wont sell it. Asking $14,500
The car looks awesome and performs even better! Everything works, has homelink transmitter, sunroof works without a hitch along with power everything. Great for a daily, or Road racer if you throw in a cage. Will include 17x9 5zigen FNO1RCs with 245/40/17 hoosier R6 for extra 700. Car shifts perfectly and is now built for high revs. Honestly this car is not perfect on the paint, but just needs a good detail job, was scratched on the side by a vandal a few months ago, but most will come out. The car is set at only 14 psi, wanted to do boost leak test and then tuning before turning it up. Engine was broken in easily for longevity. Oil changed after every autocross or every month with Royal Purple 15w40 before the build. After build non-synthetic, and now that it has over 3,000 miles on build, Mobil 1 10w30. If you like road racing, the car runs great. Cooling system both coolant and oil keep temps perfectly. It just bounces around the thermostat (180). CAR NEEDS NOTHING!

Yah I will be posting this on other sites. I am not too willing to budge on price as it is damn worth it for a car that is put together right. Engine was built and assembled by BRMM and its broken in and ready to go, so you dont even have to baby this thing right off the bat. As ive said its only at 14psi, ill be boost leak testing it this week and then turning her up to 20-22psi on pump and seeing what she can do with some tuning.
Reason im up for selling is so that I can go racing again without scaring the crap outta myself. This much power and grip out of this car (especially with the hooisers) means that speeds on track are a bit too much for me as a beginner, and this is a time-attack car. I am thinking of going into a spec class car.
And Thank you for all the compliments! (ps dont worry those plates arent up to date and in the wrong location for all you thieves, its parked nice and safe in a private community in a garage)
