Re: 1998 Lexus SC300
Same thing I say to 90% of SC300 that arn't 200k+ miles and ran down.
Looks great! Too bad it isn't manual =*( |
Re: 1998 Lexus SC300
haha yeah heard that. manual swaps can be had for fairly cheap though just gotta source the parts. I'm contemplating just keeping it and swapping it.....just need patience to save instead of instant gratification.

Re: 1998 Lexus SC300
i was entertaining trade offers but nothing really worthy so far. I think I'm just gonna be patient and save up for a full 1jz swap. Was gonna buy a front lip for it but I could use that $350 aka $500+ after paint towards the motor. Ideally I still need this to be my daily so 1jz in an ob2 is gonna prove to be a challenge unless I "garage" the car at my girls house where they don't do emissions. A oem 2jz swap would be BOSS and could hook up to obd2 no issue. Maybe one day I'll have wads of cash laying around for that lol but I think I'll end up going 1jz.....na-t is always an option too

na-t ftw

Re: 1998 Lexus SC300
No thanks on the Jetta. I would trade for a manual is300 in a heartbeat. Wouldn't mind a 350z or g35 either.
