1997 Toyota Tacoma
Asking $8500 OBO
Contact via PM
I have a 1997 toyota tacoma for sale, it's a 4x4, 5 speed, 2.7l. the truck currently has 101k. When you first start the truck up it starts ticking, almost exactly like a diesel. I thought this was the timing chain, so I replaced all the chains, guides, and tensioners, but when we put it back together it still ticked. Before new timing parts were put on the truck I ran it for over 13,000 miles with it ticking like it this. The reason for selling is because I am fed up with all the money, hard work, and time I have put into this truck. It has all new timing components, new water pump, new rear main seal, new fan clutch, new wheels, and new tires (Kelly Safari TSR's) with less than 500 miles on them. I have reciepts for every new part I put on this truck. For anyone who does not like the wheels I can put the stock ones back on before sold. The truck will also have a new inspection before sale. Interior and exterior are kept clean. It also has a color-matched spray in bedliner by Anchor in Salem, and a 12 disc cd changer. It has a tool box on it, but will not be sold with the truck unless the price is right. Price is negotiable, but I'm not hard pressed to sell.

Re: 1997 Toyota Tacoma
Have you taken it to a mechanic to diagnose the problem?

Re: 1997 Toyota Tacoma
Check Thread. Your price is too damn high for the problems with this truck, face it.
