1997 Mitsubishi Eclipse Spyder GST (Turbo) - $5500 obo

Description:
I have for sale my 97 DSM 2g which has the 6bolt swap done professionally by me. I am moving and cannot take this car with me.
97 DSM SPYDER
Purchased Jan 2012 drove one month and then crank walk
Motor pulled out March 2012 while parts on order from King Mitsu
6bolt block cleaned, checked, tested with stock internals
Head machined by Tyson's machine shop (Simon Brown in Sterling, VA) / oil port mod done by me on head
Replaced Parts:
• OEM Mitsu head gasket
• OEM 6bolt head bolts
• New oil pump with BSE (BSE componenets from Dealer)
• Timing comps(new OEM hydraulic tensioner, OEM both pulleys,OEM Cam and Crank seals, OEM timing belt)
• New water pump
• New oil pan bolts
• New IAC motor
• New Battery
• 14b turbo with o2 dump
• New O2 sensor
• New exedy clutch,throwout bearing, pressure plate
• Fidenza light 6bolt flywheel with new OEM 6bolt flywheel bolts
• New OEM starter/tranny plate
• Injen intake (could use a new filter current one is crushed) works fine
• New spark plugs BPR6ES NGK oem spec
• RRE CAS adapter
• 1g CAS with new seal
• 3ft SS oil feed made with Teflon not rubber (also new banjo bolts and crush washers)
• NEW OEM 6bolt crank pulley
• SMIC cleaned out completely during rebuild
• NEW valve cover bolt set from extremepsi
• NEW valve cover gasket set
• All new gaskets during rebuild
• 6bolt timing cover cut at middle for easy visual access to timing belt (marks still on cover for adjustment of base timing)
• New OEM injector seals
• New Felpro Intake and Exhaust valve seals
• ALL new coolant hoses
• NEW front/rear engine mounts, Poly mount on timing side (needs one for tranny at some point in time)
• Perfect idle at 750
• AC works/heat works
• NEW clutch master and slave cylinders
• New Front brakes (stoptech)
• Custom exhaust from turbo back (Cat Delete) No check light
• GM synchromesh tranny fluid
This car is a daily driver and I drive it everyday and everywhere I go without any let downs. I have never touched the boost or fuel settings (actually dont have a boost gauge except for the stock one) This car runs perfect and it would be hard for anyone to find a car in this condition with the history I have with it. I spent the entire summer almost putting it together double checking everything. All torque specs were double checked and done by factory specs only. Head torque was checked around 3weeks ago and was still on point.
Let me know if you have any questions? I also have lots and lots of pictures during each step of the rebuild. Car currently has 153k miles and rebuild was done around 146k been driving it ever since. It also comes with a couple specific DSM tools and also the factory exhaust with the cat comes with the car.
Needs a new/used top - rear window is coming apart. Motors for top work without problem.
Virginia Safety and Emissions are still good till next year. So no problems with registration.
