1997 Honda Civic - Cheap - Stock
LOCATION: Norfolk
CONTACT: PM
PRICE: $1600
MILES: 183k / 150k on motor
I'm open to trades for cars or complete B swaps
Clean Title
Car is pretty much stock.
Newer & fresher D16Y7 from a 96 Civic (Captain JDM's car's stock motor)
A/C is there but since the swap, I haven't put the compressor back on yet. Blew cold as hell with the old motor.
Heat is hot
5 speed - Trans shifts like butter
The motor was swapped because the original one had a rod knock... new one is super fresh with all maintenance updates.
Fresh oil, trans fluid, radiator coolant as of 12/3/09
Other than that, it's a pretty solid car.
No rust.
Foglights are gone
Newer axles
Newer thermostat
These need to be fixed/replaced: EVERYTHING about the car, no bullshit here.
The header is cracked, creating an exhaust leak
The driver's door has a dent in it (not major)
IAC Valve needs to be cleaned
Front rotors could use resurfacing/replacing
Throws a CEL because the secondary o2 isn't hooked up. It didn't do it before the swap but I just don't know where the other plug is
Both windows are off track - Door panels are off but they are in the back seat (car does not get rained in, I keep a tarp over it)
No longer has that outrageous exhaust.
