Description: Have 1 of 2 1996 Nissan 200SX SE-R's that I am looking to get rid of. I have found the next car I want and am looking to move on from the B14 chassis. I have developed a great passion for these cars over the past 5 years, and am sticking with the SR20 game but moving on to a different platform. I have owned 5 200SX's since I was 16 and neither of these will disappoint! Both cars run with minor issues and are modified. I will break this down further for each individual vehicle and follow up with what issues each vehicle has and pictures of the two. This listing is for the Aztec Red 200SX.

The bad.

Cars getting old.

Car was an Auto and converted to a manual. The old b13 tranny has over 200,000 on it and is starting to sound little funny (tranny chatter with clutch depressed). It does however, have no 5th gear pop-out at all! Have an axle clicking. Feels like the inner portion of the passenger side, but haven't been under there to check. Can replace if it's a deal-breaker.


Body kit is a bit beat up but still in pretty good shape. Keep in mind that this kit is no longer made and is very rare for this car. Paint is starting to fade on the top of the roof in the rear, but clear coat is in good shape.

Normal door dings after 14 years, car was repainted in 2001 according to the prior owner. Car was hit at one time in the rear but this was before i owned it.

To be codeless, the car needs a new wire harness for the engine bay as it is still using the B14 auto harness and auto g20 ecu. I recently checked the codes and the only codes were for the lack of a crankshaft position sensor and the sensors from the auto transmission that are no longer plugged in. Car has ran fine for the past 5 years without it. I have the bulb pulled out of the cluster.

Motor hesitates a bit from about 2500-3000 rpms. Could be the 3 wire 02 sensor, knock sensor, or dirty maf sensor from what I have read.

I will work on fixing the small issues while the car is up for sale.
