Price: $14,000
Description:
1994 Mazda RX-7 R2 FD3S Silverstone Metallic Exterior/Black Interior.
This car was one of 83 Silverstone Metallic R2's to be produced in 1994.
The R2 was Mazda's race equipped package.
This R2 also has the suede seats that are in perfect condition.
This car is extremely nice and has been taken care of perfectly. This car has a PFS (Peter Farrell Supercars) exhaust. It also has a PFS downpipe. The downpipe gets rid of the pre-cat and reduces engine bay heat meaning more power, quicker spool, and longer lasting parts in the engine bay. It is commonly referred to as a reliability mod. Also this car has a Pettit Aluminum AST (air separation tank). The stock ast is plastic and can crack, while the aluminum will not. While the car has a factory radiator, I have installed a VDO temperature gauge to keep track of any irregularities. The temp gauge is mounted below the radio. I also have a VDO boost gauge mounted on the pillar. (as a point of reference vdo gauges are used in the Porsche.) I also had the oil pressure gauge fixed. It is common for them to stop working, so the sending unit was replaced. I updated to the R134 coolant that came in the 95's. I added a Mazda Miata thermoswitch. The stock thermoswitch engages the fans at about 226* the Miata one engages the fans at about 203*. This is another good reliability mod. The bugs that plagued the 93's were fixed in 1994.
I bought this car in March of 2002. It now has 81,000 miles. It even has the elusive battery cover! I have always mixed a few ounces on Marvels Mystery Oil to every tank of gas. It helps burn the fuel better and reduce carbon buildup. I always let the car warm up before boosting and let it cool down after spirited driving. It doesn't smoke, etc and it runs perfect with no issues. Everything works as it should. The AC works great also.
The history on the car is this,
I bought it from a shop as they were repairing it. The shop at that point had fixed a dozen 3rd gens and they know what they are doing and what to look for. The RX-7 hit a parked car. It was purely cosmetic stuff and the hood, bumper, lights up front were replaced with OEM parts. things were replaced, not straightened. The entire car was repainted because I didnt want different shades of silver. The car has been completely checked out. The Frame has been checked and everything. It has a good CLEAR Virginia title, it is not branded or anything.
This car is in extremely good condition and you would never know it has been repainted. I have seen a bunch of these cars and i'v never seen one as nice as this.
Asking $15,000. Not interested in trades unless its a nice crew cab diesel truck.
If interested please call or text Conner at (434)770-4699. Thank you.
