Description:
Stock K8DE 1.8 V6 5 speed with 172,257 miles.
Replaced wheel bearings last December (PO supplied them to me), just did the timing belt at 171,xxx. Have the receipt and the old belt for proof. Replaced the tie rods and ball joints (MOOG). I’ve got a good amount of receipts for things purchased for it. Interior is pretty clean (love those factory seats!) except for an unfortunate tear on the driver’s side left bolster (pictured).
Front valve Cover gasket replaced (Felpro)
Mods
- 205/55/R15 Falken Ziex ZE912 on the rear, Nitto NT450s on the front
- Replaced shifter bushings with bronze bushings and Civic short shifter (roller bearings)
- Converted to HEI ignition module and external coil (pictured). Diagram in the glove compartment for the wiring if anything ever needs to be replaced.
- SSAC Stainless headers and J-pipe, “Thunderbolt” 2.5” High flow cat, 2.5” Glasspack (25” long), 2.5” all the way back.
- KYB GR2 struts and springs from a Mazda 626 (lowered ride height, stiffer damping)
-Wearever Gold Ceramic Pads up front, Raybestos Ceramics (pictured) in back.
-Sadly the stock airbox was cut out by the PO and I haven’t found a replacement yet, so it’s got a cone filter with a small air scoop going underneath the car to get some cold air to it.
-Converted to manual timing belt tensioner
-A/C converted to Enviro Safe (R12 replacement) in May. Blows cold.
-New belts, Upper Radiator hose, converted to Mazda Millennia Nippon-Denso Alternator.
- New Driver’s side axle and axle seal
-Replaced Engine and Transmission mounts
-New fuel filter and Fuel Pressure Regulator
-NGK Plug wires and plugs (BKR5E-11)
I’ve always run 15W-40 HDEO in it with a large Corvette ZR1 (Purolator PureOne PL14619) oil filter since I bought it and change the oil every 4,000 miles.
Any questions let me know,
Thanks

They're still green.
I can see how that pic of the white rims could be a little confusing.
