1990 Nissan 240SX Coupe for sale or trade
I have a 1990 Nissan 240SX that I really don't want to part with, but will if I can find a decent trade or someone willing to pay $3000 for it. I'm the third owner of the car. It has been taken very good care of by all three owners. As I said, it's a coupe. It is dark grey, with a couple nicks in the paint from rocks on the highway most likely. There are two small dents. There is no rust. I've made a few modifications.
It has a Injen Cold Air Intake, aftermarket exhaust from the header back, a short shifter, and Eibach springs and Tokico Blues struts. The car sits 2.25 inches lower than stock, but looks completely stock otherwise. The clutch was changed last fall.
It is a 5spd with 231,000 miles on it. Despite the high miles, it runs perfectly. It's very fast and handles amazingly.
With that many miles, there are bound to be some issues. It needs a new thermostat. I've already bought it, but have not had a chance to change it. It doesn't overheat. It just runs hot. The speedometer also just started acting up a couple weeks ago. I haven't been able to take a look at that either. It also needs new rear struts. It's barely noticeable until you hit a pothole though.
I bought the car around 5 years ago as a second car with the intention of fixing it up and autocrossing it. I have never abused this car. I've taken it to the drag strip once before it was done, and I autocrossed it once in the condition it's in now. Before I modified the car, it ran 15.7 in the 1/4 mile and after I made the modifications, I placed third out of 100 in the autocross.
I'm looking for something requiring a little less time. Reliability is a must. Preferably a small-midsize SUV or car. Not terribly picky.
Anybody who is interested, please email me with info and pictures, if possible, of your car. hijacktheleft@gmail.com
Thanks!!
BTW, I'm in Richmond, in the fan.

f1luva92 - As badass as that eclipse is, I need something at least marginally larger on the inside. It also seems like it either is or will be a lot of maintenance. That's the reason I'm trying to get rid of mine. If I traded with you, I'd be in basically the same boat. It would be a much faster boat, but a small and impractical boat nonetheless.
straightHYPE - I like the Civic. A lot. I'm definitely going to keep it in mind. I don't really know a ton about Hondas, so I'm doing some research tonight, and I'll let you know.
