Default 1988 Mazda 323 gtx

Name: Keith
Location: Staunton
Means of contact: here or 540-688-9196
Price: $2000 will negotiate as long as it goes to a good home. Will do partial trades for 3.5" , 4", 6.5" speakers also need a water temp, oil temp, oil pressure gauges

Needs to go soon

Bad stuff first- dash is fucked its in pretty bad shape, driver seat is ripped and needs reupholstered ( have seat cover on it now). Front end is primered flat black, its no longer awd rear end is still there wouldn't take much to convert it back. It is an ex rally car. Needs a shifter bushing oem clutch slips sometimes above 14 psi its good below that it just doesn't always grab when it's hot.has a 2 leaks that I'm aware of, cam seals and o-ring on distributor, not a huge leak I have to add about 1/2-3/4 qt in between oil changes. Haven't had time to do front struts yet( have them just no time or decent weather)

Good- just got new non used struts, hardest thing to find for the car. It also got new strut mounts $135 a piece from Mazda. Only has 195k miles which is decent for the year. Stock motor has pretty beefy rods and 7.9:1 pistons so it will take plenty of abuse. I pretty much daily the car right now its very reliable, keeping it out of boost I can squeeze about 24-25 mpg. Just got all new turbo gaskets and vc gasket. Only about 1250 of these sent to North America 3500 world wide, minus the wrecked and pure ralley ones you don't see them every day
Car is pretty fun I don't want to get rid of it but if someone buys it ill get over it and build my protege. If I keep it, it doesn't take much to make 400 awhp

Mods that I know of- reich racing ecu ( no longer made hard to find) vj-11 turbo, probe smic, 2.5" dp back exhaust, looks like a high flow cat. Boost bumped to 16-18 psi. Has a rear LSD which is impossible to find. I have a proto type short shifter sitting in the car haven't had time to install yet( only 10 made). Has all poly urethane bushings except on sway bars. Custom fitted cup holder from a tauras, custom painted cluster ( can easily be painted black again), rays lightweight lug nuts

Gtx rod on the right, regular 323 rod left

Recent interior, have the matching seat cover for passenger side as well. I got tires of looking at the rips

Price drop 2200 obo. No trades need the cash. Throw reasonable offers

It's tax time, I know some one is wanting a quick daily or project.

Also I'm throwing in an aem wide band with bad sensor, along with aftermarket front 4" speakers and possibly 3 month old 6x9 pioneers sitting in the back seat

Finally got it back from the shop, no longer sounds like it has swampers on it and pulls way harder.

Price is negotiable make some offers
