1985 RX-7 GSL with 12A in running conditions in Virginia Beach $1000
Got a 1985 RX-7 GSL in running conditions. It has a 12A in excellent shape. I drive this car almost every day from Virginia Beach to Newport News. The car has a Weber 45 DCOE carburetor. It has a clear Ohio title. The car was originally red and for some reason 2 owners down it got painted gold. Here are the good and the bad about the car. Would consider trading for firearms, Apple computer, DSLR camera or try anything, I might just let it go.
Bad:
-The mileage shown on the instrument cluster of 157K is not actual. The title has the actual mileage of over 200K (not sure at the moment). I have put 587 miles since I bought it this summer form another forum member (rotaryhaven).
-It has cancer in a few areas (look at the photos)
-When you hit the gas from a stop it will bog. If you push the gas easily it will go then about 2k rpms it can be pushed to the floor and it will take off pretty good. A upgraded fuel pump and regulator will fix this.
-It needs carpet. I took the interior apart to replace the carpet but between work and moving never got around to it. I do have all the original interior panels.
-It needs window/door rubber seals.
-It has an exhaust leak.
Good:
-Car runs pretty good even at highway speed of 80mph
-The original tape deck/eq/stereo works. When I put the interior back together the amps would not come on for some reason.
-All accessories work (i.e. power windows, power steering, a/c, wipers, heater, lights, cigarette lighter, etc)
-Automatic tranny shift pretty good.
-I have the metal sun roof also.
This is a pretty good car over all. It look like it was never in an accident. The reason why I am selling is because this was supposed to be a daily commuter. As you can see by the Weber is turning into a project/fun car. I don't have time for a project right now and it is taking funds away from my future project. As you can see by the pictures, the car is running.
I'm located in Virginia Beach. I'm asking $1000 for the car. Come and get it!!!
Here are the photos.

The rest of the car:
Take note that the passenger floor board is not rusted. It is just sound dampening material left over.
