It is not the original 7 bolt, but it is a perfectly fine motor with great compression, all changed belts/ maintenance and recently rebuilt at some point. I don't have proof of the rebuild which is why I did not calculate it in the cost of all the mods and extras with the car, but you can tell it was by looking at the freeze plugs/ head. I bought a built 6 bolt for the car and sold the original motor because I had no intention on using it.

Where's the built 6bolt? Does it come with the car?
That price for that and those minimal mods are gonna be hard man...I'd definitely post this up on dsm oriented forums LOL. Especially with its history of a past engine bay fire and mileage doesn't really matter anymore nowadays since nothings original with the vehicle anyway. Its like me buying a vehicle that had substantial damage to something critical to the vehicle and it never had any miles put on it.
I'm not being a hater as I've had 27 dsm's over the past 6 years and I hope the best for you.
That price for that and those minimal mods are gonna be hard man...I'd definitely post this up on dsm oriented forums LOL. Especially with its history of a past engine bay fire and mileage doesn't really matter anymore nowadays since nothings original with the vehicle anyway. The electrical issue is irrelevant at this point as I replaced everything. I understand the concerns with the motor, but the new owner will likely build one at some point anyhow IF they wanted to. The motor in the car is perfectly fine with great compression, zero crank play (checked while out) and recent maintenance all performed. The built 6-bolt has been sold. If it doesn't sell for more than 10 I will have no issues pulling all the mods and making the car stock and selling it for 7-8. You won't find another 29k mile low 12/ high 11 sec car for this price, anywhere. Not even an evo, and then you'd STILL have to pay 10k+ to bring the car up to where this is.
This is my 15th 2g this year and I've been in dsms since 02 so I have a fairly good understanding of what they go for. Pricing this was a little difficult because of the miles, but I am confident it will sell. It might be difficult selling around the holidays, but it will sell. It's listed on every major dsm forum in the country as of this evening.

Just to help, post this up on supraforums.com believe it or not most supra guys still love dsm's and they love low mileage and have the coin to throw down lol.

Definitely a rare find and it's awesome that it's available in the Virginia. I miss my talon though, if it was a tsi awd I'd be all over it. GLWS
