(just a little FYI, the regulator going bad is due to mis-use/ignorance of owners. Lube the tracks with a silicon' spray. Roll it up and down a couple times)
I have a MR 00 Si aswell, mine did this to me when I first bought it. Now, when I give her a good detail(once every 3 months) I lube up the rubber run-channel. I've been doing this for 3-years and I havent had to replace either regulator. (155,000 miles now)
Nice car and congrats on the kid. I may end up posting mine up once I get tired of tossin the little one back there.
