2000 Honda Civic Sedan EX|B20|Megan Racing|Skunk 2| Team Dynamics|
Location: Richmond
Means of contact: PM or text (804)THREETHREEFIVE-NINEFIVEFIVEOH
Price: $4900 OBO
DO NOT BASH ON PRICE, IT'S SET BECAUSE OF LOWBALLERS
Trades: CR-V, Subaru Forester OFFER, WORST I CAN SAY IS NO
Description:
I received this car from a family friend who blew the last motor in it due to lack of oil. So I decided to put a B20B (Purchased from JSPEC) for a little bit more power than a single-cam. The car is fully loaded: power windows, power steering, sunroof, A/C, C/C. It's extremely reliable and will not leave you stranded anywhere. It's a perfect car for a daily. I manage to make about 32 MPG in the city and about 38 MPG highway. The chasis itself has about 232k miles, but the motor has about 45k miles, most of those miles being from highway driving. Being a 13 year old car, there are some dings, dents, key scratches, etc. I will be as honest as I possibly can with the car.
Engine:
Low-Compression B20B (Purchased from JSPEC at 40k miles, I've put on about 5k miles myself)
LS transmission
eBay 2.5 piping to RSX Type-S muffler. Very quiet.
Solid Urethane Mounts
P/S
A/C
C/C
Suspension/Wheels
Megan Racing EZ-Street Full Coilovers 32-Way Adjustable Dampers
Skunk 2 Rear LCA
15" Team Dynamic Pro Race 1.2 Wheels (One wheel has some curb rash)
Falken Ziex tires (About 45%-50% all around)
Interior
8.5/10
Exterior
8/10
Minor dings and dents around the car.
Both fenders have a little damage does has been fixed to the best of my abilities, a little bit of rust has appeared. Pictures will show damages.
Hood also has the notorious Honda crow feet.
Good:
Perfect daily
Great gas mileage
Lots of room
Bad:
Transmission is a little weird. When swapping it looked fresh, but after driving first gear is a little difficult to get into. Once it is in first gear, the rest of the shifts are butter.
Cigarette burn on the passenger seat/rear seat
Carpet stains
ABS Light is on, I'm not positive why. I've never had problems with braking; I meant to take it to my buddy at Honda to check, but both of our schedules just don't match.
I HAVE POSTED PICTURES OF MOST NOTICEABLE FLAWS OF THE CAR SO WE DON'T HAVE TO WASTE EACHOTHER'S TIME. DO NOT TEXT ME ASKING IF THERE IS ANY RUST OR HOW BAD THE DENTS ARE, ETC. THEY ARE SHOWN IN THE FOLLOWING PICTURES
