2000 Honda Civic DX 5 Speed
SOLD!!!
Vehicle: 2000 Honda Civic DX with 121k miles (Mileage increases daily)
Description: I have been flirting with the idea of trading my Civic for a more comfortable ride. Just want something a little more grown up, with some creature comforts. The car is a 2000 Honda Civic Hatchback DX with a manual transmission. It has 121k miles, bought it with 108k. Manual windows/lock. It is white in color and is overall in good shape. It has some dings and some other cosmetic problems. A scrape on the front bumper. The paint directly under the passenger window is messed up. It's not noticable until you are right up on it.
This car used to be automatic. You can check my old thread to see why it was swapped to manual. It has an EX manual transmission in it now. I drive 34 miles round trip to work each day. Runs like a champ. This car is sound and has comfortable daily driving suspension even for 264. The car did have a proper alignment after all the wheels/tires/suspension were installed.
The only issue with the car is 3rd gear grinds if you switch too fast. If you shift slow it will not grind. There are no pop outs or grinds in any other gears. The trans was supposed to be grind free when I bought it.
I have a new Gates timing belt kit ready to install, just haven't done it yet. Will go with the car.
Bad:
Pictures:
On the driver's side near the mount you can see black specks. That was fluid from the old motor mount that was ripped. It has been replaced.
Paint defects

Bump for a clean car. If you change your mind about selling, I'd be interested

No thanks guys. Wouldn't mind a teggy, but not a turbo one.

Let me know if you happen to sell. Been looking for a white hatch.
