2000 civic si bone stock (stuck in second gear)

Description: just got this in a trade. Don't really have time to mess with it at the moment. Here's the run down->
2000 Honda civic si 142k original miles, bone stock from air box to shift knob. Clean car fax motor runs amazing super quiet no cels or any knocks ticks or smoke. The car is stuck in gear when you start it for some reason but when the car is off it shifts into every gear perfectly as it should. It could be pressure plate, slave cylinder or something stupid.

I put money on it something is wedged into pressure plate bc I had same problem on a previous car. Part of clutch could have broken off into it but its something small with it. Basically a new clutch kit and it will be running/driving.

Pulled the trans today. The clutch has never been replaced so it was a bitch. I'm driving to 6 hours to Carolina now to pick up a trans for my gsr an a spare trans just in case it's not the clutch. So car will be running 100% in a few days
