you do know that once you get the title back after buying it back from insurance that it will have a salvage title right.
either way could work out well for someone.
will call you

I did not know that.
once a car is totaled and bought back from an insurance company it is issued a salvaged title, in order to get the car registered and able to drive on city streets it will have to be inspected by a dmv inspector, who than does some sort of paperwork and fills out the salvage title, you can than take it to dmv and have it registered as a rebuilt useable title and wont have any problems registering it.
I went through that in 2010 with my wifes tsx (makes sense though since that would have made it only 6 years old), thought it was the same for all cars.
Why then are there people with older civics and integras posting up for sale ads with cars that have just been rebuilt but have a salvage title ?
interesting.
in any case, dude has a nice integra for sale. I want it, called about it but I think someone else is gonna get it.

Hey guys. Okay. So I called the insurance guy today. I am waiting on him to show up sometime so we can fill out paper work and I can get my settlement and keep rights to my title. Post up here. If you are still interested. Highest bid is at $2000 still. I have about 6 people interested. I will also post new pictures up tonight. (more detailed pictures of damaged area and engine bay) I also ripped off the bumper and driver headlight and threw them in the trunk just to clean things up. After, I went ahead and drove around the neighborhood and it still drives just fine.
