Description: 1998 Honda Prelude Base
5-speed Manual transmission
Only 157k miles (9,800 average per year)
Exterior: Very clean exterior for a '98. Smooth lines -- the only ding on the entire car is a dime-size ding on the passenger door. The paint is called Nordic Mist Metallic, a blueish-silver color.
• 17" Konig Toxxin Rims (Paid $800)
• Type-SH Side Skirts (Paid $80)
• Tinted Windows (Paid $175)
• Spoiler
• Clear Corners
• Arospeed Coilovers (Paid $200)
• Type-SH Lower Rear Sway-Bar
• Front Lip Spoiler (Paid $200) *NOTE: I've taken it off the car, as the paint started chipping. Still have it and it will be included with your purchase.
Engine: Runs strong with no leaks of any kind. Engine is very clean. Transmission shifts like butter - no grinds, or pops .
• Original H22 VTEC Engine
• AEM Cold Air Intake - blue (Paid $200)
• OBX-R Header (Paid $300)
• OBX-R Resonator (Paid $90)
• Magnaflow Catalytic Converter (Paid $200)
Interior: Interior is very clean, with no rips, stains, tears or burns in the seats. All original floormats are still in the car, which is rare. Interior is 9/10.
• Alpine media receiver head unit (Paid $250. iPod ready as well. Just plug-and-play)
• Momo Shift knob - blue (Paid $80)
• Sony Component Speakers (Paid $200)
• 12" Alpine Type-E subwoofer w/ 600-watt Kenwood amp. Sealed in custom ported box. (Paid $700)
• Cloth Seats
• Power Moonroof
• Power Windows, Steering, Sunroof & Locks (not seats)
The car runs great with no mechanical problems. The only things I've had to replace in 4 years of ownership are the starter and the flywheel. The cosmetic blemishes are a sun-faded spoiler and the tiny ding in the passenger door I talked about earlier. Also, the driver side window is peeling a little bit in the upper right-hand corner. The side mirrors have also experienced a good amount of sun fade.
If you are interested in coming to take a look at the car -- or would like to see more pictures -- please contact me through email. Thanks for looking!
