THANKS FOR THE INTEREST. BUT SOMEONE DECIDED THEY WANTED IT FOR FREE. HOPE KARMA CATCHES UP WITH THEM. THIEVES RUIN THE WHOLE COMMUNITY FOR EVERYONE. I'LL NEVER OWN A SWAPPED HONDA AGAIN.
Description: I'm selling my 1996 Civic with a K24/K20 engine swap. This car is very fast and extremely reliable. No check engine lights. Tune was done by Derrick Robinson at Innovative Motorworks in Carlisle PA.
All the parts on the car were chosen wisely. The engine uses all OEM parts (except for the supertech forged pistons and timing chain tensioner). The suspension is AST4100 which is known as being a step or two above Koni.
I was originally going to set it up for SCCA Autox (SMF), I ended up focusing more on my track car (E36M3) and never got around to transforming the Civic into a Nationally competitive SMF car. It is still setup as a street car, but could be easily setup to be a competitive autoxer or time trial car. It still has a full interior, and all the comforts like power steering, MP3/USB headunit. AC has been removed however (due to K-series incompatibility).
Bad
Hood - The stock hood is pretty beat up, and the paint is chipping. I have a used CF hood that will go with the car too, and I also have two extra front fenders.
Rear passenger trailing arm - bushing is torn, may need to replace trailing arm if your aim is motorsports.
Paint - The car has all OEM factory body panels (except the front bumper I replaced because it was torn). It has the original paint from 1996. This is not a magazine cover car. The car looks good from 10 feet away. Up close there is some minor door dings, and the paint has faded somewhat. No oxidation or clear coat failure, but it is what you'd expect from a 17 year old car.
This car only weighs 2100lbs from the factory, so with 260+ whp it is a monster. This car is so much fun, I just don't have time for it anymore. I already have a 2006 Si, and just bought a C5 Z06 and need to get rid of this one. # Would love to see this go to a good home, preferably to some one who can drive or wants to learn to become a driver. Not looking for any trades.

If I had the cash this is probably the only civic I've seen on here I would consider buying.

Thanks everyone. Yeah, I had pipe dreams of asking $9k, but nobody's going to spend that kind of money on an old EK Civic.
Just so long as the person who buys it can appreciate it, I'll be happy.
Would really like to see it go to a good home.
BTW - The cams are OEM TSX cams, made a huge difference over the OEM Si cams.
