Description: This 1995 Civic EX sedan is ready to go, will make a perfect reliable daily driver, or the good start to your modding needs. The chassis has 234k on it, however it has a 40k mile D16Y7 bottom end, with the Z6 head which has been freshened up. The engine has a new timing belt, water pump, cam and crank seals, valve cover gasket, MLS head gasket, distributor, plugs and wires. There is also a new radiator, hoses, and thermostat. The AC blows ice cold, power steering works great, and it runs out beautifully with no CEL's or driveability issues.
I bought the car from a customer, we had maintained the vehicle for them for the last four years. Recent repairs include new brakes and rotors all around, new rear calipers and hoses, new front brake hoses. The struts were replaced about 40k miles ago (according to them, we did not perform this at my shop), and the car rides very nice. The stock 14" wheels have tires with approx 60% tread life remaining, and they are being painted OD green to match the car. The photos are from when the engine was out, which is why it is sitting high in the front.
The paint was fair on it to begin with, so I repaired the left quarter panel (original owner's previous girlfriend got a little upset to find him banging her sister, so she kicked it in and did some beating on the hood) and several other parking lot dings on the car, then gave it a fresh coat of OD Green. The side stripe is spray on bedliner, which gives a nice contrast with the texture. I coated the rocker moldings and mirrors as well, to accent the color in addition to giving it rock chip protection.
As far as the interior goes, it is in decent shape for a 17 year old car. There are a few tears in the drivers seat cover, I have photos of that in addition to the tear in the drivers side carpet at the rocker. There is a Pioneer CD player and upgraded speakers in the car. The sunroof works, as do both power windows and locks. Like I said to begin with, this car is a great daily or start of a driver project. Everything works, and works like it should. No ghetto rigged bullshit like you would see on most of these cars. This one is unmolested, which is very hard to see anymore. It has never even had a fart pipe installed on it!
Speaking of exhaust, it had a new muffler and midpipe installed last year as well.
The clutch was replaced about 5k miles ago, and the transmission was serviced at the same time. New CV axles were installed right before the engine scattered, so there really is not much on this car that will give you troubles.

Coupe, I made a mistake on listing it.
Mod's have fixed the thread title.

Re: 1995 Civic EX Coupe
Seats will be back Monday, carpet and a few small trim pieces came in from Honda today. Should be doing some final photos Tuesday or Wed.
The car will be in RVA in a week to allow for up close inspection, if desired.

Re: 1995 Civic EX Coupe
Seats came back from upholstery shop, and are installed. AC is blowing good and cold, I have been driving it to make sure all is well. Put a new O2 sensor in for a code 41 that came up and its sipping the fuel at a great rate. Getting right at 32mpg so far.
Door handle insert is out of the passenger side in this pic due to clips being installed on the door panel to get rid of a rattle.
The outer B pillar mouldings on the door were replaced with new units from Honda, in addition to the windshield washer pump being replaced with a new Honda unit to fix a leak.
