The GOOD:
I have a 99 Si that's had 3 owners. This car has been female driven since 01 with 23,000. The car now has 129xxx miles on it. This car has all the features, but the rear spoiler. Yes, even the mudflaps and stock front lip. Everything is stock but for the sony head unit and polks all the way around. It has brand new tires, not even a month old. Stock Si rims are in good shape. <130 miles only used fully synthetic oil. The engine has been meticulously taken car of and done at West broad honda. The inside of the car is 8 out of 10.
The BAD:
The paint ... well it needs new paint. I would have this repainted and the dent fixed, but if I am not going to keep it then I will leave the car at it's with the original paint. I would not buy a newly painted car ever. It's a really bad idea, b/c you never can know what is under there. Here i can tell you and show you the original paint and no rust and so on. You can see that there is ZERO- NO rust on the car anywhere!
There is a dent on the driver's side. It looks like she swiped a fire extinguisher and it made a line bending the metal. I have talked to several body shops and all said it will not be hard to fix, and I can explain to you what and how they would do it. It is a great car.
for less than a single g you could have the car dent and the left side of the car repainted.
To give you some back ground on the car:
This is a great commuting car, and it's still fun to drive. It is 160hp with 110 pounds of tq. Get's great gas mileage about 33mpg, then of course more when only driving on the road. Once again, I end up throwing money away, my loss your gain.
I thought I should add that the bumpers are all in great shape, not cracks! paints peeling, I just power washed the car b/c I was going to get it fixed and the whole car repainted, but decided to let someone else take this Si. This is a solid perfect running car No mechanical issues!
