'00 Civic EX Coupe/B18C1/Rota *NEW PRICE*
Name: Derek
Location: Kernersville, NC (27284)
Means of contact: PM (goes to email)
Price: $4,200 or $4,000 on stock wheels and 95% tires or $3,800 if you bring your own wheels
Description: The Bad: Dent on passenger side rear quarter, rear bumper is kinda crappy, passenger front carpet had some battery acid spill on it, so it's kinda eaten up a little. Also, climate control only blows on the last 2 settings (high and extra high lol), and previous owner spray painted door handle plastic. Some scratches/dings here and there.
The Good: Paint still looks good for 12 years/172,000 miles and cleans up nicely. Seats aren't in bad shape (front or rear), complete GSR swap at 158,248 miles- that means less than 20k on engine! The engine was completely rebuilt by an Acura tech, then swapped in my car. It had 0 miles, and I broke it in conservatively and changed the oil at 600 miles, 1500 miles, and every 3,000 after. It was swapped in November 2009.
A little background on this car: I bought it in the fall of 2009 from a friend in Boone when the motor was knocking. I had the car towed to Greensboro where Chad Slagg (google him) and I swapped the engine. I made sure the engine was perfect because I was planning on using this car as a track car in the future. It rides on some no-name coilovers and black Rota slipstreams with 75+% tread tires. I've got Energy suspension bushings throughout underneath, all 3 Hasport mounts, and some other things.
To keep DD amenities, I bought the CRV A/C bracket and the Integra PS bracket to keep AC and PS. It still has cruise control, and all windows/door locks, sunroof/ radio, etc. work perfectly. There is also an iPod cord routed below the console which pops out near the e-brake. I just replaced the AC compressor, but the system still needs a vacuum/recharge.
I'm sure there are some things I'm forgetting, but that's what questions are for.
I'm not interested in any trades (I have a 2012 GTI, an S2000, and no land).
It's a great car, and drives awesomely. It's decently quick, sounds good (no muffler), doesn't smoke, leak, or burn oil, no weird noises, etc. I wouldn’t hesitate driving this thing across the country (once the A/C is charged).
