Who was the resident VB admin here?

GOt a few questions on the VB4 installations tasks that I am running into

MY current site is running on 3.8.4 and I am consifering the upgrade but from I have read it is not what it's all cracked up to be...I like the Facebook linking tho

Anyone else here run another forum that have ran the upgrade to VB4 and run into issues?

Issues I have is the upgrade (After ALL mods were disabled) is that step 3 on the table mods fails and will not go any further...SQL error on table phrasegroup?? Table does not exist...??? This is when I try to run the upgrade ona teest DB that I just restored from backup prior to the upgrade

EDIT - SQL restore was done on the shell not phpAdmin oh

You'll have better luck getting information on the vBulletin forums.

oh I've been there going on 3+ years now and have not had this much trouble with an upgrade. I was wondering if you had any "gotchas" during your upgrades in the past here...

Nothing major like you described.

The search in VB4 is terrible (if you have a smaller forum it will be okay) and we're still dealing with trying to port over some plugins, along with the various bugs that come with new software.
