Maybe a Tag for DIY... for tech. How people have done things and posted on here how they did it.

I figure a lot of meets get posted in local forums (ie. ongoing weekly meets), it might help users yield better results for searching.

Nope.

Only thread starters or moderators can add tags at the moment. What's the point of tagging your own thread with that?

The whole point is to make it easier to find threads, not amuse the regulars.

Make NSFW a tag then you can build an option in the CP to prevent those threads from showing up.

The idea is interesting, but unfortunately the searching (and therefore options) in vBulletin is pretty limited. You can only search for ONE tag at a time and there are no other options, e.g. the boolean options patrons have for regular searching.

Not to mention NSFW content should pretty much only be posted in The Backroom, if its posted somewhere else report it and a moderator will deal with it.
