site suggestion: PM box searching?
anyone ever suggested a possible "pm box searching" tool.
just like the forum... only for the PM box
especially be beneficial for patrons with a 2500 PM box.

If I find a mod that does that depending on how it's implemented then it would possibly be added. Meaning finding one that works for the version of vB we have and it can be enabled on a per usergroup basis so only Patrons could use it.
Until then I'd suggest using the folder feature and moving PMs to specific folders which makes finding stuff later easier. If that won't work you can download your PMs (links at the bottom of the PM page) and search them on your computer.

You can also download only certain messages by selected their check box on the right and using the drop down at the bottom of the page.
As for the mod, I haven't been able to find one as of yet. From reading the vB forums the developers are aware of the issue and are looking to add it in a future version. When that will be released (or if the feature will even be added) is anyones guess though.
