new member post approval?
Is it possible to have all new members have their first 15 or so posts approved by moderators before they can pm/start threads?
Im thinking it can be done in the same way its done on team-integra.net. Their system is set up to have each new members post forwarded to a mod. While its awaiting approval the post itself says "awaiting moderator approval." After it becomes approved whatever they typed shows up. If its not approved it simply goes away as if a mod deleted it
Upon searching the only thing found were threads asking to bump the post count to pm solely, not start threads.
In my opinion this can help weed out the seemingly illiterate and such.
Just a thought

Re: new member post approval?
Which will make mods ACTUALLY do work. They should "recruit" a few volunteers. I can think of a few that would be great for the job.
EIDT: Not saying some don't do a fine job already.

Ill gladly volunteer for it lol. Don't even need to make me a mod, just have the posts forwarded to my inbox and give me the ability to approve or deny
