If you type in www.vadriven.com into the address bar in google chrome it takes you to the page

enter in .com/forums page and it is fine.

i just have .com/forums bookmarked from the days of the last landing page...it would always lock my browser up for 15 seconds.

Just a heads up to whoever might be having the same problem: Cleared my cache and cookies, works fine now.

That was exactly the problem. We put up that page when we're doing some server maintenance, usually when the DB has to go down or will respond very slowly. Some web browsers cache the maintenance page longer than others.

A hard refresh or clearing cache usually does the trick.

I cleared everything, can reach the site, but I'm getting a lot of things that are not loading?

I'm getting a lot of things that are not loading/rendering properly since yesterday. I'm assuming there is some software maint going on.

Its mainly images, but since a lot of things use the same image (i.e. the rep pips) when the image doesn't load none of that particular image will.

Hopefully will be fixed shortly, but no promises :o
