diy/write-ups
i know on a couple other forums they have DIY-Do it Yourself, and they have Write-up sections.
i think this would be great for when people ask for stuff, instead of searching multipul forums for it, it would be on here.
Just make sure the titles say
ex.. DIY - 1988-91 Honda Civic Foglight install w/ write up
or someething along these lines.
and if theres already a section like this, that i have not seen in my 3yrs on driven, then i apoligize and delete this.

Re: diy/write-ups
Good idea but there are several factors what makes Vadriven different.
1) If you need to do something yourself and it requires a significant amount more general knowledge to perform the DIY, make a thread in the correct section. We have plenty of individuals here who will support and guide you through your task. For example, Fabrik8 in the Tech section. (I applaud him for his efforts). Furthermore don't asked how to install LED interior lights in your car and those typical low level DIY's.
2) Most DIY threads on other website's are locked, meaning no one can comment or edit it. With that being said there also a few years old. These days there are different and multiple methods to do some DIY's. No wonder it's called DIY. Members still create and request for certain DIY threads even though there already is a DIY thread for a certain job.
3) Make worthwhile thread, if you need guidance ask for help and maybe it will take be a successful thread once the DIY is complete. After wards it is possible we can somehow implement this in the future. This is VAdriven so "anything is possible"....

Re: diy/write-ups
If there start to be some good informational threads I'll find someway to separate them from "regular" threads.
