How to: Change the appearance of the board for Hiptops/Sidekicks
 

As many of you browse (or would like to browse) dragVA via your Hiptop/Sidekick, we have a layout designed for the smaller screens.

To change from the default board view to the Hiptop/Sidekick version:

First, click on "user cp"

Next, click on "edit options"

Scroll down to the "Other Options" section

Where it says "Style Set:", click the drop-down menu and change "Use forum default" to "Hiptop"

After that, click the "Submit Modifications" button at the bottom, and you should be in hiptop view.



To return to normal view is the same process, except choosing "Use forum default" in the appropriate drop-down menu.

Please note that the hiptop layout is designed primarily for BROWSING the forums. Anything else, ie searching, posting, etc may not display properly on the hiptop.

If you look at the date of this thread you can see that this is a very old solution to browsing on mobile phones.

The current one is to just use https://www.vadriven.com on your phone which automatically uses the mobile style.
