Consulted pics of other jdm sedan mirrors and they all seem to sit like that on the passenger side. Must be a design thing
Best offer so far is $60 for these discontinued pieces. I heard that you can replace the mirror housing on these with the ones from the power folding type R... So basically you'd have type r mirrors on replica bases, and that would make the mirrors LHD.

^On second thought I don't think it's true by using the type r mirrors, but possibly true if you use the rhd jdm sedan mirrors. If I don't get serious offers I may just try the conversion myself.

so i filed a non-paying complaint thru ebay. we'll see where this goes. will be back on sale in a couple days if homeboy doesn't pay.
