Gripfest 3 at NCCAR - October 27, 2012
Time trial event at NCCAR (Garysburg, NC)
Single lap format - 10 +/- timed runs around the 2.5mi track. We will be running clockwise this time and will be using the entire straight.
$150 for drivers, $10 for spectators.
All you need is a 'safe' car and a helmet.
Convertibles are not required to have roll bars (but of course we recommend they do)
Your car doesn't need any special equipment like a roll cage, it can be bone stock as long as the car operates as it should and you have good brakes, etc.
If you're curious about how our events run, head over to YouTube and search for Gripfest or "grip fest" to see some vidoes of people running it counter-clockwise. We will not be doing a chicayne at this event as we have done in the past. (Cones to slow you down through the straight)
