2nd Annual CHKD Toy Drive

Doesn’t matter what make or model, we want you to come out and participate in our Second Annual CHKD Toy “Drive”. We are all going to meet up, register, and then cruise as a group from sponsor to sponsor, collecting toys for the kids at Children’s Hospital of the King’s Daughters, and raffling off great prizes from our partners.

The schedule of events is as follows:

11 AM - Meet at Sound Wave Customs. Registration to participate in the cruise (and be eligible for prizes) is
a donation – either a new, unwrapped toy OR $5 cash donation.

LEGAL STUFF: Participants must sign a waiver for driving behavior during the cruise – no excessive speeding, burnouts, drifting, racing, etc. Normal traffic rules MUST be obeyed, and 757iLLEST will not be responsible for any damages or fines levied against individuals who do not heed local and state laws.

We will be selling event stickers (for those of you with a need for vinyl) as well as other 757iLLEST swag, so you can get your fix.

Additionally, we will be collecting donations and selling stickers for two other causes:

Save Jenro’s Fund – helping a local legend and car enthusiast pay for fines from property owners.

Paul Walker Memorial / Tyhpoon Haiyan victims fund – helping a relief effort for victims of Typhoon Haiyan, in remembrance and with respect to Paul Walker.

12 PM - Begin our convoy. The route is 60 miles, and is expected to take (with stops) approximately 5 hours.
We will stop at each sponsor location and pick up the box of toys, and hold a raffle for prizes donated to the event by each sponsor. Expect to spend about half an hour at each sponsor location. Prizes may not be exchanged for cash, and you must be present to win.

Participants are encouraged to do the whole cruise with us, to maximize exposure and chances to win, but if that’s impractical, feel free to donate and then meet us at the end of the cruise for the after-party at Wanna B’s Karaoke Club & Restaurant.

The owners of Wanna B’s have most graciously offered us the venue (with full bar) for private use from 5-7pm, as well as FREE sodas or water and 1/3 off ALL food! (Alcoholic drinks will be at normal price) Then their regularly scheduled Happy Hour starts at 7, for those of you (of legal age) who want to hang out afterwards and enjoy some adult beverages and karaoke.

This is an all-ages, all makes and models event. Expect to see classic muscle, modern tuner, and everything in between. All are welcome to participate, and the more you cruise with us, the more chances you have to win!

Finally, for all of our military folks, there WILL be signed letters of appreciation for each and every registered participant (by request), which can be used for evaluations as “civic involvement” bullets.
