Thank you again for allowing us to post our yearly event here for all of you who have personal watercraft and jet boats as well as your great cars. We hope to see some of you out on the water ina few weeks. Below is the information you will need to see what is going on and how to sign up.

Tour de Virginia Ride

Come join us on Saturday September 8, 2012 for our 3rd Annual Tour de Virginia Ride. The ride will take us on a 122 mile round trip journey from Norfolk, VA to Coinjock, NC and back.

Some of the highlights of the ride will include a look at beautiful downtown Norfolk, VA including a look at the USS Wisconsin, a journey through the Norfolk Naval Base and a chance to see some of the massive ships of the United States Navy and the awesome experience of the Great Bridge Lock as well as some ski hugging experiences with various draw bridges.

The Coinjock Marina and Restaurant will be our turn around point and also where we will eat lunch and fuel.

Below is the itinerary for the ride:



7:30 am - depart Willoughby boat ramp

9:30 am - arrive at Great Bridge Lock for bottom of the hour opening (eastbound)

11:00-11:30 am - arrive at Coinjock Marina and Restaurant for lunch and fuel

1:00pm - depart Coinjock for return trip

3:00pm - arrive at Great Bridge Lock for top of the hour opening (westbound)

4:30-5:00pm - arrive at Willoughby boat ramp (end of ride)

Hello Everyone,

Due to a bridge replacement project, the Coast Guard will be shutting down the Intra Coastal Waterway from Sept. 5 for about 10 days which will be right in line with our ride.

I have postponed the ride until Saturday September 22. The deadline to register for the ride will be September 16 No Later. If you have already signed for the previous ride just let me know if you will be attending this one.
