I'm looking for a swap for my 2000 2.5 RS either WRX or Sti eiher one I don't really care what year. I'm looking to hopefully find a complete swap, full wiring harness, ECU, tranny and subframe if needed. Cash in hand, let me know what you have.

they are legit, just buy the whole car and convert, itll only cost about 5g to get it over here.
My brothers old ITR receipt is from them.
plus you need to do more than just the motor swap, the tranny and the diffs are weak as hell in the RS just like in the regular wrx non sti models, always blowin gears. and if those blow at 250hp, imagine 300 going through.
just tryin to help out
on a side note, if yours is a two door ill buy it from you

shit, I am actually almost thinking about selling it.. but it's a four door (looks better in my opinion, like the USMD STI). Pics in my profile, I have an old pic thread for it too if you search

Re: WRX or STi Swap for my 2.5 RS
my friend just did an sti swap in his 98 rs. let me tell you... its not cheap. you have to send your wiring harness along with the sti harness to get it merged. that costs like a grand. you will need the the rear diff, and tranny. either the sti suspension or you can use the stock rs suspension. if you use the stock suspension, you will need to order custom axles from driveshaft shop. they are like 1200 bucks. we used the sti steering rack and crossmember, and steering column. you need the ignition, ecu, and immobilizer from the sti. i believe that they need to be from the same car or it wont work. you will also need the fuel pump controller and fuel pump from the sti as well. my friend has spent about 7 grand and its still not 100% complete yet. if you have any questions, you can pm me or check out nasioc.com or rs25.com. hope that helps

it costs alot of money and alot of work is involved with this swap. if it something you really want then go for it. buy an older gc8 model sti and swap everything. pretty much everything should swap over even the firewall to make it rhd.

yea if anything I'm planning on doing the Gc8 STI swap, just makes more sense. Seems like it would be easier. just planning on switching everything from the full wiring harness, guage cluster, cross memeber etc... figure that would be the easiest way.. there are a few people on rs25.com that did the swap to about 4-5 grand wich is pretty reasonable.
