K series 4.76 Final Drive!@#$

Hey guys, I just bought this FD, but for some reason it wouldn't fit my transmission correctly. I don't have time to figure it out, so I ordered a new gear set.
Everything is in good condition. Previous owner said it came from a 06 RSX with 100xxx miles. When i received it, I had it cleaned it and checked at a machine shop. Machinist said it was fine to use.
